…are finally accomplished and the big day arrives!

I love everything about Christmas…candlelight and inches of snow (for us at least), music and more music, Advent calendars and readings, family and fellowship, the smells of the cookies we only make this time of year, lights on the houses we pass, holiday bustle and parties and also the quiet evenings at home, Christmas movies, singing carols and little secrets tucked away in the closet.

The cookies (so many of them!) are put away, the slabs of chocolate melted for candy…

Presents are wrapped, new festive clothes made and pressed, the house has been decorated…

And it was all for today. Because God was made man and redeemed us. Now that is worth celebrating!
